Alasdair will be talking about his experience in the field of film soundtracks on 22nd February in the Boyd Orr Building of Glasgow University in Glasgow’s leafy West End.
It’s been erroneously stated online that Alasdair is the composer of the soundtrack to the film ‘Young Adam.’ The truth is that he played hurdy-gurdy on one track on the album. But he’ll be talking about his other film soundtrack work over the years, including the most recent project, a collaboration with artists Eddie Summerton and Michael Windle on a short film about the Dighty Burn in Dundee.
