Just recorded a version of the ballad of ‘Captain Wedderburn’s Courtship’ with Karine Polwart at Heriot Toun Studio in Edinburgh. It’s in connection with a compilation being made of Alan Lomax’s Scottish ‘field recordings’ from the 1950′s.
