Thanks to the people of Music is the Music Language Festival at SWG3 in Glasgow for hosting a solo appearance.
The very benevolent David McGuinness of Concerto Caledonia, with whom previous collaborations have happened on a few occasions, has recently been providing some very helpful advice on musical scores which have been in development for new song work. Keep abreast of McGuinness’s diary at the above link.
Work with Shane Connolly of Sokobauno continues apace for the Archive Trails tour with Aileen Campbell and Drew Wright this October. The live dates for that are floating around somewhere on the internet. As are live dates for a short solo musical tour to Ireland in the first week of October with Adrian Crowley and James Yorkston.
And just confirmed: Alasdair’ll be doing some solo dates with his Drag City labelmate and Amalgamated Sons of Rest recording partner Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy in France in November. Dates to appear here shortly.
