Back in January 2011, Alasdair Roberts got together with the Lewis-born Gaelic singer Mairi Morrison and a bunch of their musician friends to make a record called Urstan, which is out now on Drag City Records. The recording was facilitated by Ceol ‘s Craic, Glasgow’s popular Gaelic club night which happens regularly at the Centre for Contemporary Arts.
This month, May 2012, Mairi Morrison and Alasdair Roberts will be touring in support of Urstan throughout Scotland and England.
