Braemar Residency: New Approaches to Traditional Music

‘New Approaches to Traditional Music’ is the name of a musical residency which Alasdair is undertaking with Aberdeen-based composer Ross Whyte, initiated by Sound Festival and Woodend Barn, Banchory.

Ross and Alasdair have just spent a week in Braemar, Deeside, developing their collaboration. They will spend some more time in Braemar throughout the year and the residency will culminate in a performance at this year’s Sound Festival in late October or early November.

A blog relating the residency has been set up and can be viewed here.
