The Rif Mountain 7″ single by Alasdair Roberts & Friends (featuring the John Dowland song ‘False Astronomy’ and the anonymous mediaeval Scottish song ‘Joy to the Person of my Love’) is available now. The single features musical contributions from Donald Lindsay, Harriet Plewis and Tom Crossley and specially commissioned artwork by Ryall Lindsay.
Recording scheduled for this month with Mairi Morrison, Stevie Jones, Alistair Caplin, Allan MacDonald, Alex Neilson and others.
Also Alasdair will be playing some solo gigs with Joanna Newsom and her band in France and Portugal.
