Moving On Music Festival, Belfast
The next Alasdair Roberts solo intervention takes place at Black Box, Belfast, Northern Ireland on Wednesday 23rd March. It is part of the Moving On Music Festival. Be great to see some of you there.
Many thanks to the people of Glenrothes and its environs who came to see Rafe, Shane, Stevie and Alasdair play at Rothes Hall last Friday on a bill with Roddy Woomble and his band. They had a good time.
More news: this week mixing of recording session with Gaelic singer Mairi Morrison from the Isle of Lewis (and other great musicians) which took place in January. Work for Archive Trails project at the School of Scottish Studies continues apace. And ‘Dighty Burn’, Alasdair’s song for Eddie Summerton and Michael Windle’s short film Dighty, is complete. The film is complete too. More news on that to follow.
