The Mairi Morrison and Alasdair Roberts track Brà dhagair an Taobh Siar, recorded in January at Diving Bell Lounge in Glasgow, is available on the recently-released download-only compilation CD Love Letter to Japan – all funds go to the Japanese Relief Effort. It is available for download here.
Alasdair will be appearing with guitarist Anne Chaurand to sing a song at Ceol ‘s Craic club at the Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow on the evening of 23rd April. That night the club features a special focus on Breton music.
The 7″ for Eddie Summerton and Michael Windle’s film Dighty Burn, for which Alasdair wrote a song, will soon be available in strictly limited edition.
Naomi Bedford’s CD Tales from the Weeping Willow, on which Alasdair sings on a couple of tracks, is available now. It was produced by Gerry Diver.
